Something to Consider July 2020 2
The world looks very different now to when we rang in the new year of 2020. We didn’t have a clue what was about to hit us.
Like you, we had to adapt fast to ensure that we can maintain the pace of execution and deliver on our commitments to our customers, employees and partners.
We have had to go beyond just replacing face to face activities with ZOOM, TEAMS, WEBEX etc, and create new and better ways for running socially distanced workshops, enable essential “collaborative learning and innovation” opportunities, keep on top of changes, challenges and trends, and provide relevant guidance, advice, thought leadership while sustaining the tempo of the digitization, global process and cloud analytics initiatives we are delivering with our customers.
For our part, we have tried to inject some energy and insight into fresh thinking on some of the key challenges that have focussed your mind. Over the past few months we have run a raised tempo of webcasts and virtual events covering topics from generating cash from the most unlikely places, balance sheet mining for cost relief, purchase to pay strategies, order to cash tactics for a crisis, driving performance in the wake of COVID, Global Business Services research feedback and strategies, streamlining risk management and financial control, addressing heightened threat levels, and accelerating value from controls and compliance automation.
The list is more exhausting than exhaustive, but we have had great feedback and many generous comments. We share all this content on Linkedin free of charge, as well as other articles we find useful or interesting. If you aren’t already following us on LinkedIn, please do, and you will find the occasional spark of timely insight! Or your money back…?
Shout out if you have suggestions or topics you would like to see us cover or that you would like to contribute to.
Stay safe, stay sane, stay healthy.
