Metric of the Month: Internal Audit Costs
The CFO Magazine and APQC report that the ‘Best’ are spending 13 cents or less per $1000 of revenue to monitor controls and compliance internally. In contrast, the ‘Rest’ are spending on average $1.40 per $1000. This survey highlights the need for greater effectiveness in some companies Internal Audit functions.
