Consider Solutions was born out of a fundamental truth. While businesses are increasingly reliant on technology, the commercial agenda of tech vendors regularly drives them to add more features, more functions and more complexity. As a result, companies are drowning in technological sophistication yet they are trying to simplify data insight and improve management visibility.
Over the last 14 years, Consider has crafted a unique offering that blends proven management consulting skills with a thorough grasp of evolving information technologies. Consider's methodologies and expertise allows your business to simply focus on ways of optimising financial processes, managing risk and simplifying the burdens of compliance.
Our shared goal is to help all types of organisations achieve and maintain a state known as World Class Finance.
The world is moving faster than ever and we all expect businesses to keep up and behave responsibly. It’s not easy. Managing people, processes and systems to rule out inefficiency, failure and fraud is the core of our offering. Consider discovers the vulnerabilities in organisations and helps you fix any inherent weaknesses. For the last 14 years we have been building ways to understand and obliterate all these shortcomings.
The more a business grows the more it struggles to keep control of everyday transactions. Process is layered on process to keep the business on track but this can often result in complexity and operational clutter. Consider brings a wealth of experience in optimising, rationalising, designing and automating internal controls. We work closely with our customers to assess the business value of the controls they already have and to establish how improvements can deliver greater assurance over business operations and more reliable financial reporting. Our methods are designed to benefit the audit process and simplify compliance while creating, straightforward, automated reporting and if possible, cost reductions.
Every business makes mistakes every day, often unwittingly or with good intentions. But finding them, identifying the causes and ensuring they don't become common practice, is the key to our service. We conduct scrupulous automated analyses and craft monitoring systems that identify error, waste and fraud. Risk changes fast and stakeholders need to have good visibility of the organisation’s exposures, both financial and reputational. Sometimes we simply provide diagnostics, one off examinations of a particular problem but more often we help implement risk management policies and systems that offer permanent assurances to business leaders.
In recent years, the speed and sophistication of business transactions and processes has grown exponentially and with it the need for continuous monitoring. As companies demand more effectiveness from their finance function, they also want to reduce costs. Consider has worked with many blue chip companies to optimise their finance systems and processes, measuring performance and creating a culture of continuous improvement. Our methodologies identify variances from best practice, defined standards or simply what is expected. We can then diagnose the root causes and prescribe remedial actions.
